11/15/2019 0 Comments Being a CelebrantAs a Marriage Celebrant based in Perth Western Australia I am always on the lookout for words and phrases that I may use in a ceremony to bring the lives of the couples I am marrying in to life and encapsulate who they are and where they are heading.I read a wonderful article this morning in The Weekend Australian Magazine about Paul Kelly. Using poetry and phrases can elicit that feeling of love, a lot of it springing from the ways of Shakespeare.........How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. or as Paul Kelly says"When you do nice things to me all heaven shuts down" As a Marriage Celebrant my job is to put words and meaning into verses that are my couples story.....and I love the opportunity to create.

CatrinaYour wedding day is such an important day, the beginning of the rest of your lives together in fact. It is important to start that journey with the right words. My job is to form words into a ceremony that embody you as a couple and to celebrate the day with the respect, fun and occasion that it deserves. Archives
