11/21/2019 0 Comments Lets get marriedWe are so very lucky to live in amazing Perth. Being a Civil Marriage Celebrant I get the opportunity to see so much of this great city and the surrounding country. Love has no boundaries and I think there should be no boundaries associated with weddings. There are so many options available to couples for their wedding day and so many options for the ceremony that can be created. I think that is what I love about being a celebrant.
Gillian and Cris planned a bush wedding but luckily plan B was available because the weather had other ideas for them on their special day, so Cris's amazing arbour was erected in the local hall and we had a beautiful ceremony in doors after braving gale force winds outside!........congratulations to as beautiful couple. 11/17/2019 1 Comment Another normal weekNormal is great, uniques is great, love is great. "Love concours all and we must yield to love" -Eclogue X by Virgil, 37 BC. So.......lets all be happy in love and choose a Marriage Celebrant to make your day wonderful. 11/15/2019 0 Comments Being a CelebrantAs a Marriage Celebrant based in Perth Western Australia I am always on the lookout for words and phrases that I may use in a ceremony to bring the lives of the couples I am marrying in to life and encapsulate who they are and where they are heading.I read a wonderful article this morning in The Weekend Australian Magazine about Paul Kelly. Using poetry and phrases can elicit that feeling of love, a lot of it springing from the ways of Shakespeare.........How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. or as Paul Kelly says"When you do nice things to me all heaven shuts down" As a Marriage Celebrant my job is to put words and meaning into verses that are my couples story.....and I love the opportunity to create.

Sooner or later we begin to understand that love is more than verses on valentines, and romance in the movies. We begin to know that love is here and now, real and true, the most important thing in our lives. For love is the creator of our favourite memories and the foundation of our fondest dreams. Love is a promise that is always kept, a fortune that can never be spent, a seed that can flourish in even the most unlikely of places. And this radiance that never fades, this mysterious and magical joy, is the greatest treasure of all -- one known only by those who love. 11/11/2019 0 Comments After we meetAs a Perth based Marriage Celebrant I endeavour to make your wedding ceremony as memorable and individualised as possible. Once we have met and you book your wedding ceremony with me we meet again to complete the legal paperwork and I will send you a questionnaire which, once completed will allow me to know you, how you met, what you love about each other and even the things you do not love about each other. I create a ceremony unique to you and your relationship.

As a Perth based authorised civil marriage celebrant I would be very happy to help plan and be involved in your special day. The process begins by first meeting so I can get to know how you envisage your day going, You can ask questions and we can create a relationship that allows me to write and present a ceremony that completely suits you. 11/9/2019 1 Comment New beginningsThis is the beginning of a new era for me. As a Perth based authorised civil marriage celebrant I have now added a blog to my repertoire.
We live in an amazing state and there are so many placed to hold a wedding ceremony. From the beach to the bush and all places in between. From little to large, themed to formal the occasion is all about the bride and groom. Each of my clients has a unique story to tell and part of the reason I love being a celebrant is to put their story into words to be delivered on the wedding day. |
CatrinaYour wedding day is such an important day, the beginning of the rest of your lives together in fact. It is important to start that journey with the right words. My job is to form words into a ceremony that embody you as a couple and to celebrate the day with the respect, fun and occasion that it deserves. Archives
