I'm Catrina, a marriage celebrant based in the South West of WA. I write and perform ceremonies for couples and, if required, can stay on to keep the reception running – so your whole day feels like one story rather than two separate events.
A little about Catrina
My approach is simple: your ceremony should sound like you, not like a script. Before anything is written, we'll talk properly – about how you met, what makes you laugh, what you want your family and friends to feel as they watch you get married. Every word comes from there.
On the day, I arrive early, calm, and completely across the detail, so the two of you can just be present. And because I can also work as MC for a lot of my couples, the handover from "I do" to reception often disappears entirely. It's just one long, easy day.
I qualified in Sydney in 2018, so I've now been marrying couples for the best part of a decade. In that time I've learned that couples don't need a celebrant who disappears between bookings – I'm always available if you've got a question, and always here to help, right up until the day itself.

I marry people from the bush to the beach to your own backyard, and my sound system is set up so everyone can hear every detail, from every corner – no power point required.

Of both the music and the ceremony itself – where you stand, when things happen, how it all flows.

Questions, drafts, reassurance – whenever, in the lead-up to your day.

Ideally the day before, so we can check where the sun will be and make sure nobody's squinting – and if you've got kids or pets in the wedding party, so we all know what to expect on the day. This is optional.

Prepared and lodged with Births, Deaths & Marriages – one less thing for you.

Want something small? I cater for that too. From a legal-only ceremony with just the two of you and two witnesses (+18), right up to a full celebration. Small, medium or large, every wedding gets the same care – I just need 30 days' notice, whatever the size.

I handle the words, the timing and the PA. You just enjoy it.
We write it together
Your story, in your words, shaped into a ceremony. You'll see drafts and have as much say as you want.
It’s made official
Your paperwork is lodged with Births, Deaths & Marriages within 7 days of your wedding.
